Oxford snap up new front man
Newly promoted Blue Square North side Oxford City have snapped up former Oxford United star Jamie Cook.
Jamie now 31 was last season playing in the Blue Square Premiership for Bath City.
Mike Ford the City manager told the Oxford Mail.
"When I heard he was available I made the phone call and last week he agreed to sign for us," said Ford.
He`s still got a lot to give the game and he will be a decent signing.
"The great thing about Jamie is he is flexible. He can play upfront or out wide on the right.
More importantly for me, when we lose someone like Basham (to an injury), we need someone like him that can come in and do a job for us.
