London Welsh to play at Kassam stadium
The fight is finally over and npower league 2 football club Oxford United will ground share the Kassam stadium with Aviva Premiership rugby club London Welsh.
London Welsh found out on friday that their appeal had swung in their favour which meant Newcastle Falcons were relegated to the championship.
With a support which averaged in excess of 1,000 a match and was watched in the playoffs at the Kassam stadium by 3,456. They were formed in 1885 so will bring to Oxford a wealth of history.
Is this good news? Well lets hope so. May be the ground share will help each club by sharing some costs.

as I said in another article, although I feel the saving financially will be a real boost, I do worry that the state of the pitch as a result may either affect results or force the club into playing a more direct way of football
