Hope it's not a Hammering for the U's

U's fans need wait no more as they get to see the yellows in action tonight against the westend boys in claret and blue.

West Ham will arrive as guests of Oxford United tonight in what I suspect will be a lesson for Chris Wilder and his men on where the U's need to work on in preseason.

The U's have only been back in training just over a week so nothing much is expected by anyone associated with Oxford so as the oppostion is nicknamed the hammers that is just what we expect.

But does it matter. Yes it's nice to get a good result and performance in preseason. But No as its a learning game so to speak for Chris wilder and his coaching team.

The Premiership new boys managed by Sam Allardyce will brings a strong squad to Oxford to it will be a stern test for the U's. Former loanee Robbie Hall will be making a return to the club where last season he hit 6 goals in 14 appearances. Oxford born Matt Taylor will be included and will be a threat down the left.

Ko is 1945hrs and tickets are still available so it's a chance to see the new players combine with last years squad for the first time.
