Another attempt to prize Beano away
Bristol Rovers manager Mark McGhee is considering lining up another bid for the yellows top scorer James Constable according to media sources in Bristol.
Just a few months ago United turned down an offer thought to be in the region of £150,000 from the Bristol club. But it is believed that that they are prepared to come back in with an offer closer or matching the £225,000 that Swindon Town and AFC Bournemouth had accepted by the club.
Just recently Oxford United manager Chris Wilder had a meeting with Beano telling the player he was in his plans for this upcoming season.
Beano stated in an article by the Oxford mail 'Obviously it's nice to be told you're wanted, but on a personal level I want to be here. I love being at the club, this will be my fifth season here, I've enjoyed every minute of it and I'm glad that it has been put to bed.'
