City put up a good fight but United march on.
Mike Ford's(pictured) Blue and White City put up a good performance against the Yellows of United. The match was watched by just under 600 fans which turned out to be a good last test for Chris Wilders men.
Chris Wilder left his able assistants Mickey Lewis and Andy Melville to oversee the match. It was decided with the injuries to United that a squad of fringe players with trialists would take to the field.
