Wilder in the frame for the Coventry hot seat!

Coventry City from the Npower League One will begin the interview process this week after recieving 60 formal applicants. They have wittled the list down to 9 candidates.

Oxford United manager Chris Wilder was the overwhelming favourite with bookmakers last week.

The new favourite this week is former Walsall and Luton Town boss Richard Money, who was seen at the Ricoh Arena to watch Coventry`s 2-1 defeat to Stevenage on Sunday.

Other leading candidates in the frame according to bookmakers are Steve Staunton, Dennis Wise, Kevin Blackwell, Lee Carsley, Paul Dickov & Brian Laws.

Last week, United chairman Ian Lenagan said: "Chris Wilder is a very good manager and I don`t want to lose him."
