Oxford pitch fails match inspection for tonight

Officials decided to call off tonight`s FA Cup 2nd round replay match between Oxford United and Accrington Stanley.

Both teams are suffering from injuries so I sure it will be welcomed by both teams. Freezing conditions over night and with temperatures still around -5/6 this morning meant the pitch would not have softened up by this evening.

With the temperatures not getting above minus figures today it was decided to delay the match until Tuesday 18th December next week.

Postponed! As my training was called off tonight, I was thinking of going to watch these, even in these conditions, considering how cold it is, I'm almost glad its off
