Oxford United announced today they have signed Josh Parker 22 on Non-Contract forms as cover to the injured players.
Josh is a winger/forward usually playing right wing. He is know for having lots of pace. Josh started of at QPR and made his football debut in Febuary 2010 while on loan at the Blue Square Premiership side AFC Wimbledon coming off the bench 2 times. When he returned to QPR he made 4 appearnces for them in the Championship.
In the 2010/11 season he made a further 2 appearnces for QPR before again be loaned out to Npower League 2 teams Northampton Town 3 app and Wycombe Wanderers 1 app. At the end of this season he was released from his contract with QPR.
Oldham Athletic of the Npower League 1 handed him a 1 year deal where he stated to get regular football making 9 starts and a total of 18 appearances before being loaned out to Npower league 2 team Dagenham & Redbridge 8 appearances.
During 2011 and 2012 he has represented Antigua & Barbuda 7 times.
A certain Dexter Blackstock (Former OUFC Youth player) is also Antigua & Barbuda International.
