Justin Richards Arriving on loan

Justin Richards 32 is being lined up for a months loan at the club from sources in Derbyshire.

With Deane Smalley and JP Pittman out injured and with the news James Constable will miss 4 matches Oxford are a little light up front.

Justin has scored 112 goals in 306 starts for club through his career. Last season he hit 12 goals in Npower league 2 for Burton. This season however he has struggled to make hit the back of the net with only 1 goal in 15 appearances.

He has not played in the FA Cup so would be available to play if the U's can complete the paperwork in time. However he did play in the JPT against Coventry so would miss next weeks match.

If the paperwork does go through in time and he plays against Sheffield United it would be the second time this season he has played against the blades. He was part of the Burton side that beat Sheffield United in the first round of the Capital One Cup in August last year.

U's fans will remember him from the time he spent with the yellows in 2008. Although he only scored 1 goal he showed the U's fans some glimpses of what he could do.
