Ryan Clarke injury

Ryan Clarke Oxford United's regular goal keeper has been taken out of the first team by Chris Wilder.

Ryan has been struggling with a double shoulder injury over the last few months. U's fans have witnessed a few errors by the regular keeper but not realising he was putting himself through the pain barrier for his team.

After last week`s penalty shoot-out loss at the hands of Southend the U's manager has taken the decision to relieve his first choice keeper. Ryan will now look to have an operation which is likely to keep him out for up to 10 weeks. Effectively the rest of the season.
