'If It's Football, It's Vital'

It's D Day for the U's players Thursday

Oxford United manager Chris Wilder will speak with each player Thursday regarding if they are part of his plans for next season.

Chris only found out his future last week when Ian Lenagan handed him a new one year contract.

The U's, who finished ninth in League Two, have 16 players out of contract in the summer. So for some it will be a torrid time as they try and locate other clubs.

It could be that even if the player is in contract they they could be told they will be sold or given a free transfer to another club.

With Ian Lenagan stated that 25% of the squad next season will be made up of the 5 ex youth players some tough decisions will have to be made.
