Paul Benson on Oxford United radar

Paul Benson, 33 could be a target for Oxford United and could even conclude a deal this week.

Radio Oxford reported today that both Jon Meades and Paul Benson were in the thoughts of Oxford United and deals could be done. It was reported that we may see some new faces arrive by the end of this week.

Paul Benson has a proven record of scoring at npower league 2 level where he has scored for Dagenham & Redbridge, Swindon and Cheltenham. He has also played league 1 for Portsmouth and Charlton.

He has a ratio of scoring a goal in ever 3 matches last season He played for Swindon, Portsmouth and Cheltenham in 38 matches scoring 9 goals.
