'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Talented Josh Shama signs for Oxford United

Josh Shama 18 has signed a 1 year contract with the U's with the club having an option to extend the deal.

A midfield player with an excellent turn of pace.

Josh started football at Wootton Bassett before being spotted by Southampton who signed him as a schoolboy footballer later he signed for Reading.

In 2011 he signed scholarship forms with Reading but was told earlier this year he would not be retained. Oxford were one of the clubs to offer him a trial and done enough to impress the coaches.

In 2009 he was crowned Junior Sports Personality of the Year at the British Asian Sports Awards

He will gointo the development squad and will hope to get his chance in the first team in the 2013/14 season.
