Date of Captital One Cup v Charlton.

Oxford United will be the first Valley visitors of the season in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday, August 6th (19:45hrs).

The U's start the season away to npower league 2 newboys Portsmouth on the Saturday before this cup tie.

The first round clash will take place at The Valley and prices have been set at 10 adults and 5 over 60s and U21s.

Chris Wilder a former loanee of Charlton (90/91 season) returns to SE7 for Oxford's first time since October 2002.

On that night the U`s progressed 6-5 on penalties in the second round of the same competition after the sides were locked together at 0-0 after extra time.
