Asa Hall arrives from Shrewsbury

Asa Hall, 26 has returned to Oxford United on a 6 month loan deal from npower league 1 club Shrewsbury Town.

The midfield player left the U's May 2012 and signed for the Shrews on a 2 year contract. However Asa had a difficult time trying to establish himself in the team with only 5 starts and 13 sub appearances he was loaned to Aldershot in January this year.

First team appearances were better with the shots as he played in 16 matches with only 4 times coming off the bench.

U's fans will remember him from his previous time here were by the whole he did not show his true ability until the latter part of his two year stay with us.

We wish him well this time around.
