Plymouth Argyle sign ex-Oxford United striker

Deane Smalley, 25, who scored nine goals in 39 league and cup appearances for the U's last season has signed for Skybet league 2 club Plymouth Argyle on a two year deal.

Deane arrived in 2011 for a fee from Oldham Athletic over the 3 seasons he played in 93 matches scoring 16 goals. It's fair to say that injury has played a big part in those three years.

Argyle boss John Sheridan worked with the Manchester-born forward during his time in charge at Oldham Athletic.
