'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ex-Watford man signs for the U's

Oxford United's young right-back Matt Bevans, 20 will remain with the U's for a further year after the club activated a clause in his contract.

Matt made 12 appearances for Oxford last season having joined the development squad in July 2013.

'I'm delighted to be staying at Oxford for another year,' he said. 'It's a great set-up here.' He told the official site.

In his first year with the U's he was part of the success of having a development squad and showed he has real potential.
