New deal for Newey

Tom Newey, 31 has signed a 1 year deal to remain at Oxford United.

The left back played in 47 matches last season scoring 1 goal against AFC Wimbledon. However one stat he will want to improve on is the fact he picked up 10 yellow cards and 1 red card.

A solid player who in the FA Cup was converted to a center back postion due to injuries to the regular center backs.

Tom is the last player who was out of contract at United so any more signings will be new additions to the squad.
