Lunny a sought after man

Lunny a sought after man

According to reports from the Daily Mirror Oxford United captain John Lundstram, 23 is being linked to Sheffield United.

Lunny arrived from Everton in July 2015 after picking up 31 England youth caps with 2 goals to his name.

Although he never broke into the toffees first team he had experienced first team action whilst on loan with 5 different clubs making 67 appearances and scoring 2 goals for Yeovil.

Over the 2 years he has been with the yellows he's represented the club 104 times scoring 4 goals. With the club being promoted and the release of Jake Wright to Sheffield United, Lunny was made club captain.

The article indicates a £500k bid has been submitted. With the player still having a year to go on his original 3 year deal, his age and ability also taken into consideration I would have thought the starting price would be at least £1.5m with add ons.
