Alex Mowatt, 22 has joined the yellows on a season long loan from Barnsley.

The Doncaster born player came up through the youth system at Leeds United where he started in 2004. His progress was really impressive as his reputation grew. In 2013 at 19 he made his Leeds debut ironically against his home town club.

He won the young player of the season award in 2013/14. In 2014/15 he won the fans player and also the players player of the year award. He went on to play 125 matches for Leeds scoring 13 goals. Also getting caps at U19 and U20 for England.

On 27 Jan 2017 Barnsley paid a reported fee of £600,000 but after just 6 appearances he's been allowed to leave.
