Christian Riberio hangs up his boots

Oxford United's Christian Riberio 27 has taken the decision to retire from football on medical advise.

The former Welsh International arrived at Oxford in July 2016, however a broken ankle in preseason meant he had to miss the majority of last season.

He made his debut in March 2017 making just 3 appearances. He's made 14 more appearances for the yellows scoring a vital goal against Charlton.

The right-back was suffering with serious pain in his left knee and was medically advised to retire.
