Cameron Mark Thomas Brannagan, 21 has signed a 3 1/2 year contract with Oxford United from Liverpool.

January is starting to see the U's recruitment team brining in young players with the potential to develop with the yellows.

Cameron is no exception with the attacking midfielder having risen through the ranks at Liverpool. Capped at England U18 and U20 level he has made 9 apearances with the Merseyside club including playing in the Europa League.

Last season he went on loan to Fleetwood making 14 appearances.

Its been reported that Barcelona scouted the player during the 2013/14 season. It was only a year ago Liverpool rejected an offer of over £1million for the talented youngster from Wigan.

A player that can create chances and has chipped in with goals for Liverpool's U23 team he comes to Oxford with a good pedigree.
