Plymouth V Oxford Preview

Carl Fletcher's Plymouth team have had a torrid year with off field problems. But at least the team from Devon can finish the season looking forward to having a team next season.

On Saturday Plymouth fans could breathe a sigh of relief regardless of their result if Macclesfield and Hereford lose then Plymouth would be guaranteed League football next season.

The home form in recent weeks has been good so don't think this is a 3 point cert for the U's. Chris Wilder`s men at the moment are still in 7th place with 3 games to go by the skin of their teeth level on points with Crewe.

However with a better goal difference all they need to do is match the results of the railway men. Performances have been good but the U`s need to convert the chances they create.

Match Facts & Stats

Oxford have the slight upper hand in the matches between the two teams won 14 drawn 10 lost 11

Ref Watch:

Gary Sutton is the man in the middle. He has only taken charge of an Oxford match once before that being 7th Nov 2010 FA Cup away to Burton. The U's lost 1-0. The same can be said about Plymouth as he took charge this season at Plymouth's visit to Crawley where they lost 2-0. So fingers crossed we fair better this time.

Match Prediction:

Plymouth 0 Oxford 2
