Star Player

James Constable got his 4th of the season and spurred his team onto victory.

With the odds stacked against the yellows going into this match luck was on the U's side. Northampton was the form team but morale boosting goals from JP Pittman and Beano ensured three welcomed points. Chris Wilder can be applauded for his tactics in this match as I thought leaving three up at corners freed up space for the defence and Ryan Clarke in goal. Later on bring on the 6ft 4 Harry Worley to shore up the threat of Clive Platt.
