James Constable returned after a 4 match ban with a goal.

Oxford United were looking to bounce straight back after a 3-0 lose against the Cod army. A big decision had to be made with keeper Wayne Brown making a few errors in matches. Young keeper Max Crocombe was given the shout and performed well.

With the U's hoping for 3 pts the task was made harder with new injuries to Michael Duberry and Peter Leven during the match. After the U's went ahead, Burton pressed forward and got the goal they were seeking.
