Football fans were rewarded with a pleasant days entertainment in the sun with a fine display for both sides.

Kevin Brock set his team out to chase and attack the oppostion and could have come away with a draw. As far as performances go both teams will be happy with their first match of the season.

Ardley: Harding, D Beckett, Kinch (A Beckett ht), Jackson, Thomas (Smith 45), McIntosh (Stanbridge 26), Gardner, Bridges (Castello ht), Bryan, Convey (Starratt 54), Eyre (Brooks ht).
