Star Player

Alfie Potter caused the Burton defence real problems with his pace and skill.

Scored a wonderful strike to put his side infront.

U's fans put this down as the toughest match to date. But the match turned out tough for different reasons for the Oxford team. First Ian Sharps was dismissed for a kick on Dave Kitson. Then Rene Howe took it upon himself to go in late on three Oxford players seeing yellow for a tackle on Jake Wright which saw the defender sprawled on the ground.

In the second half Oxford took advantage of the extra man by scoring two good worked goals to take 3 points.
