Danny Rose didn't put a foot wrong in the centre of the park and won the midfield battle

Mickey Lewis took charge of the U's for the first time at home. With a 1,000 more supporters turning out to see the team. In a traditional 442 the duo of Lewis and Melville decided to try and attack the dons to the delight of the onwatching fans.

The injury list has not improved and with a calf injury to Sean Rigg it appears to be getting worse for the yellows.

Two good goals and both scoring for the first time in a yellows shirt. However it was the introduction of David Connolly which would have been of the fans minds after the match as he raced through to beat the defence and chip the goalkeeper to earn the U's their first back to back home wins of the season.

More of the same please Mickey and Andy.
